in overnight news oakland police spent the past several hours investigating oakland's latest homicide. alex savidge is in the area of 19th street of san pablo where two people were shot. what do you know alex? >> reporter: one of the people that was shot here at this location was killed. that is where two men were sitting in a parked car when someone came up and opened fire. this happened right on san pablo at 19th street. you can see this is market where this all took place. police goth here and -- got here and found several shell casings. the driver hit in the chest and the arm. he drove himself and his passenger to highland hospital and the passenger eventually died from his injuries. in the meantime there was another unrelated shooting we understand at oakland that happened early this morning. this one was on the 7600 block of deer wood. in that case the information is verylimited. we do know the man was shot during a robbery. in addition to those two shootings early this morning there were also two other nonfatal shootings where people were hit by gunfire in the city of oakland e
